S. Padre Island World Birding Center (Part 1)

This is part 1 of a 3 part series of our visit to S. Padre Island.

From freezing weather on Thursday to almost perfect weather today!

We drove out to S. Padre this morning. We went to the World Birding Center ($10 entry for both of us). The birding Center is on 50 acres and is at the southern tip of the world’s longest barrier island.

  1. Padre Island. That conjures up memories of choir trips at the end of the year in High School. Who knew there were birds there? I was too busy working on my tan, lol! And flirting, I'm sure. Hormones and the teen years. You don't notice much, do you?!
